Saltbox Happenings
Summer Hours at the shop run from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Hours are: Thursday and Friday 10:00-4:00; Saturday 10:00-2:00. This does not mean I won’t be available. I live less than ¼ mile from the shop and will be happy to meet anyone at the shop on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. It is easier to meet at the shop than to wait all day for someone to drop by. Just call and make an appointment.
Saltbox Summer Hook In will be June 23 from 10:00-4:00. There is limited seating so reservations are required. Cost is $15.00. Contact me at the shop 660-438-6002 to make your reservation.
Debbie, Linda and I vended at The Wooly Loft and Friends Hook-In and Rug Show on April 28 near St. Louis. There were lots of beautiful rugs in the rug show. It is always fun to be around our "distance" friends and catch up with everyone.

The projects below are from Friday Open Hooking at my shop. We have open hooking every Friday from 10:00-4:00. People come and go as their schedule permits. Lately there have been between 20 and 25 people every Friday. And just because we call it open hooking doesn't mean there is only hooking going on - there are people who bring knitting, applique, etc. So if you are ever in the area on a Friday - stop by!
And don't forget to save the date of the 2nd Annual Truman Lake Hook-In and Rug Show. It is going to be Saturday, September 8th at the Community Building in Warsaw, MO from 9:00-3:00. The cost will be $15.00. Prizes will be awarded for the rug show winners. Vendors will be on site.
